STRANGERS
STRANGERS,
starring Kay Kay Menon, Jimmy Sheirgill, Sonali
Kulkarni and Nandana Sen, is an ‘out-of-the-box’
Hindi movie. The movie featuring an interesting,
less predictable murder plot gives a sophisticated
feel to the movie. Cinematography and background
score in Strangers is very well done. Produced by
Uday Tiwari and directed by Anand Rai,
this movie will bound to catch-on in the international
scene. The music in this soundtrack is by Vinay
Tiwari and lyricist is Javed Akhtar.

SAWAARIYA
Sanjay Leela
Bhansali’s latest movie, SAAWARIYA,
takes a different style to the usual Bollywood movies.
The director of award winning movies like Hum
Dil De Chupke Sanam, Devdas and Black
has directed Saawariya in a more stage-musical style
incorporating great sets and cinematography. Ranbir
Kapoor (son of Rishi Kapoor) does
a great job as a debutante hero, while Sonam
Kapoor (daughter of Anil Kapoor) is
pretty well for her debut appearance as heroine.
Rani Mukherji plays her role well as always.
All in all, a different take for a SLB movie…

TAARE ZAMEEN PAR
Directed, produced
and acted by Aamir Khan, TAARE
ZAMEEN PAR touches the heart of all viewers,
regardless of age and background. Aamir Khan’s intention
of showing that ‘every child is special’ is
definitely succeeded in this movie. Darsheel
Safary plays the role of the ‘special child’
extremely well. Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy’s music
is appropriate and depicts the scenes perfectly.
A great family story and a definite MUST SEE!

and Rajput Princess’ love story, set in the sixteenth
century is what JODHA AKHBAR is.

starrer is an epic love story. The cinematography
was well set, with a solid storyline too, although
longer than the usual Bollywood movie. Costumes
and performances captured the sixteenth century
setting fairly well. Music was scored by A.R.Rahman.
Jodha Akbar is good entertainment for some classic,
historical storyline.
